For ABA Practices Using The Vineland

Add objective developmental data to your Vineland assessments.

The Vineland gives your team valuable insight into how a child is functioning in everyday life. EarliPoint adds another perspective, providing objective developmental data collected directly from the child in a quick, child-friendly session.

Together, they give clinicians a fuller picture of a child’s development to consider during both evaluation and reassessment.

What EarliPoint adds to the Vineland

Different information. A more complete picture.

The Vineland helps your team understand how a child communicates, socializes, and navigates daily life, based on input from the people who know them best. EarliPoint offers a different perspective.

In a short session, eye-tracking technology directly measures the child’s social visual engagement. It doesn’t replace the Vineland—it adds another source of objective developmental data that clinicians can consider alongside the Vineland and the other information they already use.

Common questions

Does EarliPoint replace the Vineland?

No — and it isn’t designed to. The Vineland provides the adaptive, real-world picture in a standardized format payers recognize. EarliPoint adds an objective developmental data stream beside it. It complements, and never replaces, clinical judgment and established assessment practices.

Why add objective measurement if the Vineland is already standardized?

The Vineland is standardized but report-based — it reflects caregiver recall, and profiles can vary with who reports and who administers. An objective measure adds a second, observer-independent stream, reducing reliance on any single source.

Who administers it, and how long does it take?

Trained staff administer it, and it’s a quick assessment; qualified clinicians interpret the results. It doesn’t add BCBA hours — it gives them back.

What ages does it cover?

EarliPoint is FDA-cleared for children 16 through 95 months who are at risk based on concerns from a parent, caregiver, or healthcare provider — spanning the early-intervention window where progress documentation matters most.
